Breathing Fire: Preparing for Cold-water Immersion

Short 45min online workshop where we explore the power of the breath for generating heat and energy.


This online workshop focuses on how we can use the breath to generate inner heat and increase our core body temperature. This can be particularly useful if we want to prepare ourselves for cold-water immersion, but is also useful for generating energy.

Benefits: As well as generating heat and energy for the entire body, this breathing technique invigorates the internal organs and the abdominal muscles, and helps with digestion.

Who’s It For?: The workshop is for anyone who wants to leans how to generate heat as well as invigorate and cleans the internal body by using the breath.

When: 6.30pm-7.15pm; Thurs 20th June

What to wear: Comfortable loose clothing

Do I need to do any preparation?: Yes. No food for at least 1 hour beforehand, and no water for at least 30 minutes beforehand. If you do drink something, make sure it’s a small amount – maybe a small glass of lukewarm water with a slice of lemon.

Notes: We keep things nice and gentle. Nevertheless, if you have any health condition (e.g., heart issues; blood pressure etc) or concerns you should contact a medical professional before taking part in the workshop.
