In this paper, the authors explore the impact of mindfulness yoga on mental health symptoms such as depression, anxiety, and fatigue. Using a Profile of Mood Scale/Self-Compassion Scale questionnaire on 13 participants with existing mental health conditions, they discovered that 1-hour of mindfulness yoga helped lower levels of anxiety, anger and hostility, and increase levels of self-compassion. The overall results indicate that mindfulness yoga may be useful for improving the general mood of those with existing mental health issues.
